Identity Urns is a Sunshine Coast family business. Every urn we sell is handmade by Greg in our workshop in Doonan, in the Noosa Hinterland, and we have been making them here since we started.

What we make
Our urns are made from real sports balls. Using our patented process, we build a hard, durable shell inside the ball so the ashes are held inside the ball itself. Each full-size urn is designed to hold a complete adult's ashes and sits on a handmade timber stand, with the option of an engraved message and a perspex display case.

Custom urns from their own ball
Many local families send us a ball that belonged to the person they have lost: a club ball from their playing days, a signed ball or one from the backyard. With our Your Own Ball urn, we can turn almost any inflatable ball into an urn.
We take great care with every ball. Very occasionally something goes wrong during the process, so if a ball can't be replaced, please talk to us before you send it.

Delivery on the Sunshine Coast
We deliver to Noosa, Maroochydore, Caloundra, Nambour, Coolum, Buderim and the rest of the Sunshine Coast, with tracking on every order. Express orders are usually despatched within 2 business days, and standard orders within 5. See shipping and delivery for rates.

Why we started
Our founder Ali kept her dad's ashes in the wardrobe for ten years because no urn felt right for him. Greg made him an urn from a set of lawn bowls, the game he loved, and Identity Urns grew from there. Read our story.
